COMPLEXion (2026) Original

Complexion isn't a color. It's a story your face tells before you open your mouth.

This piece splits itself down the middle and doesn't apologize for it. One half sits in shadow, black strokes cutting through blue and green. The other half burns, pink and orange and teal fighting for space behind the same black lines. Same face. Two different worlds.

That's the point.

We talk about complexion like it's simple. Light or dark. One shade, one story. It's never been that.

The eyes are wide open. The mouth stays closed. Watching more than talking, because most of what makes us complex, we never say out loud.
