The Narrative

I painted “After The Dance” to kick of my second set of Heroes Live In Color series to honor the incomparable @mistyonpointe Dance is such an important part of our culture and Misty Copeland has inspired an entire new generation of blacks in ballet and dance like Michaela De Prince. She builds off the legacy of Katherine Dunham and other like my amazing cousin/aunt @margueritemariama ….
